The Senior Financial Accountant will be a valued member of the financial accounting team to undertake duties and manage the financial accounting components. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.

 

  • Possession of appropriate accounting qualifications. CA or CPA qualifications highly desirable.
  • Experience with capital transaction management and maintenance.
  • The ability to offer support, mentoring and assistance with junior accounting staff.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to liaise with all levels of personnel in the Health Service as well as external stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of current legislation and contemporary accounting standards and principles.
  • Computer literate including highly developed skills in the use of Microsoft Office (including Excel and Word). Experience with Oracle Financials and Magiq would be an advantage.
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
