The Senior Dentist will be a valued member and leader within the AWH Dental Services and will undertake senior clinical work, including complex clinical dentistry, and supervision and peer development of staff and students, in the AWH Public Dental Clinic. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
- AHPRA Registration
- Experience in Public Dentistry, including highly advanced skills in managing all difficult clinical situations, complex medical and social histories, people who are culturally and linguistically diverse and those with disabilities
- Have the ability to independently provide a highly advanced range of efficient dental services for all age ranges
- Advanced communication skills in all areas, including oral, active listening, written, feedback, clarity, respect and nonverbal
- Experience in supervising and advising Dentists, Oral Health Therapists, Dental Prosthetists, Dental Assistants and Students, including the development of annual clinical development plans
- Experience in developing and reviewing models of care, clinical pathways and guidelines, professional development, complete quality improvement projects and research, and other clinical leadership activities
- Prior credentialling in completing work under GA will be highly regarded
