About the Role

The Clinical lead works within the SPE/Intake administration team to help prioritise and process referrals for a variety of community services in line with Department of Health guidelines. The role requires you to work closely with and support the administration team in efficient triaging of referrals, providing clinical oversight and taking the lead on complex referrals. This includes liaising with clinicians across the Allied Health & Community Services team and external providers as required to determine the most appropriate pathway to meet the client’s needs.

  • Be skilled in all forms of communication
  • Be able to work to the Clinical Lead position description
  • Be willing to provide a Clinical updates to the SPE/Intake administration team on a weekly basis. Based on changing situations in the clinical team to ensure referrals are processed in a timely manner
  • Be willing to actively develop and maintain partnership both AWH & external service providers to support demand management and flow
  • Be able and willing to create and actively promote a positive, respectful workplace culture by maintaining and modelling professional and personal behaviour that strongly represents the AWH values


Employment Type: This is a  part-time opportunity, 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week)
