The Population Health Planning and Evaluation Manager will be a valued member of the Ovens Murray Public Health Unit. The role is responsible for leading the planning and coordination of an effective catchment wide system enabling program, providing strategic support to key stakeholders in the delivery of activity to improve population health in our community. This role requires a kind leader, who can develop relationships with key stakeholders, whilst motivating the team. This position requires strong systems thinking skills, project management expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.

  •   Education – Bachelors degree in Public Health, Population Health, Health Promotion or related field (Masters degree preferred.
  •  Experience – A minimum of 5 years experience in population health planning, program evaluation or related roles and team leadership.
  • Knowledge – Solid understanding of population health principles, health promotion strategies and public health frameworks. Familiarity with health equity, social determinants of health and community engagement approaches.
