About the Role
As a New Graduate Oral Health Therapist, you will be a valued member of the AWH Dental Service, providing oral health assessments, preventive care, treatment, and education to priority clients within our public dental program.You will work within your scope of practice under the Dental Board of Australia guidelines while receiving support to further develop your clinical confidence and capabilities.
About You
We are seeking graduates who are:
- Keen to learn and develop their skills within a supportive public dental clinic environment
- Committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
- Able to provide dental care within the Oral Health Therapist/Dental Therapist scope of practice for new graduates
- Passionate about improving oral health outcomes for priority and vulnerable populations
- Strong communicators with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist
- Current Radiation Use Licence
- Ability to provide direct patient care in accordance with AWH, Oral Health Victoria clinical standards, and evidence-based practice
Highly Desirable
- Experience providing oral health therapy services to priority and vulnerable client groups
- Confidence and capability to provide treatment across all age groups
