The Occupational Therapist will be a valued member of the Rural Allied Health Team. The role involves working autonomously in predominantly home based setting, providing person-centered care to clients with complex health conditions and diverse backgrounds. The team includes a multidiscipinary group of professionals and covers a regional footprint in the Wodonga, Indigo, Towong, and Alpine areas. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity:
- B.Hth.Sc (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent and current AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan and implement realistic treatment and outcome goals for clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work within a multi/interdisciplinary team environment.
- Well-developed time management, problem solving and decision making skills in order to complete tasks in designated timeframes.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering mentoring, clinical supervision, training and support to other OT staff, other health professionals, OT students and relevant agencies, as appropriate to level of experience.
Employment Type: This is a Fixed Term (12 months) Part Time (0.6FTE) opportunity.
