An exciting leadership opportunity awaits an experienced and passionate Nurse Unit Manager to join our Child & Family Hub, a model of care delivering family-centred, community-based support for children and families.

The Hub provides a comprehensive range of multidisciplinary services for children aged 0–16 and their families, offering early intervention, integrated care, and wraparound support. With a strong focus on equity, integration, child development, and family wellbeing, the Hub strengthens the continuum of care from home to hospital and back again.

Services are designed to respond to critical developmental and transition periods in a child’s life, creating a safe, nurturing environment that empowers families and fosters lifelong wellbeing.

As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will lead and coordinate a range of programs that are central to the Hub’s holistic approach to care, including:

•        Early parenting support

•        Paediatrics delivered in the child’s home

•        Community-based care for children with comprehensive health needs

•        The paediatric diabetes service

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, ensuring integrated, culturally safe, and responsive services that promote healthy development and meaningful outcomes for children and their families. It is desired that applicants have a strong background in paediatric and/or child and family health nursing in acute and/or community settings as well as demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills.
