The Grade 2 Speech Pathologist will be a valued member of the Rural allied health team and will be required to provide Speech Pathology services to the clients of the program. The Speech Pathologist will work with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality care to the clients of the program. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent and eligible for full practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia.

  • Current Drivers Licence.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated ability to assess, diagnose and manage communication, swallowing and oral motor disorders for the relevant clinical populations of AWH using evidence-based practice.

  • Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively across a variety of teams in the advocacy of patient centred care, resolution of conflict and clinical supervision.

  • Demonstrated commitment to, and leadership of quality and safety improvement activities.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage personal workload. 

  • Demonstrated commitment to own professional development

Employment Type: This is a Fixed Term part Time opportunity (16 hours per week).
