The Geriatric Fellow will be a valued member of the Geriatric Mediicine team to undertake geriatrician medical assessments, to mitigate access to care barriers, and improve timeliness to diagnosis in Cognitive Demetia and Memory service CDAM's. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent medical assessments in sub-acute specialist clinics, with a focus on CDAMs with escalation available to fellowed Geriatricians when required.
- Mentor and support junior medical staff where required.
- Contribute to data collection, monitoring of outcomes and audit as required.
- Maintain collegiate relationships with nursing, allied health and support staff.
- Undertake appropriate professional development opportunities in conjunction with supervision from AWH geriatricians.
