Albury Wodonga Health is seeking a passionate and experienced Culture, Engagement & Inclusion Advisor to join our team and help drive meaningful, sustainable change across our organisation.

Working across the organisation, you will provide specialist advice and practical support to strengthen diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging. You will partner with leaders, employees, community stakeholders and key groups to translate our commitments into meaningful action.

About the role
As our Culture, Engagement & Inclusion Advisor, you will:
- Lead and support the implementation of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives across AWH.
- Provide specialist advice to leaders and teams on inclusive workplace practices.
- Support the implementation and ongoing development of our Gender Equality Action Plan and associated reporting requirements.
- Contribute to initiatives that strengthen Aboriginal employment, cultural safety and self-determination, working in genuine partnership with Aboriginal employees, communities and relevant organisations.
- Support initiatives relating to disability inclusion, accessibility, LGBTIQA+ inclusion, gender equality, multicultural inclusion and other areas of workforce diversity.
- Use workforce data, employee feedback and contemporary evidence to identify inequities and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop practical resources, education and communication that build capability across the organisation.
- Build strong relationships with employees, leaders, community partners and external stakeholders.
- Support consultation and engagement so that people with lived experience are involved in shaping initiatives that affect them.
- Monitor progress and help evaluate whether our initiatives are creating meaningful and measurable change.
About you
You are someone who can combine strong values with practical organisational change.
You will bring:
- Experience in diversity and inclusion, organisational development, human resources, workforce strategy, community development or a related field.
- A strong understanding of equity, inclusion, cultural safety and contemporary diversity practice.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to respectfully work with people from diverse backgrounds, identities and lived experiences.
- Strong communication, facilitation and influencing skills.
- The ability to turn strategy and evidence into practical workplace initiatives.
- Confidence working with data, reporting and evaluation.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to influence change across a large and complex organisation.
