Requirements:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum five years postgraduate relevant nursing experience
- Relevant post basic qualifications and experience in perioperative nursing
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate professionally to all staff within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Recent management experience and the ability to manage staff with a positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to respond calmly and effectively utilising sound judgment in times of stress or difficulty.
- Possess a good understanding of the principles of quality management and risk management.
