Allied Health Interprofessional Educator (Permanent Full Time)

We are seeking a dedicated educator to lead interprofessional education (IPE) initiatives that strengthen teamwork and patient-centered care. In this role, you will collaborate with the Allied Health Education team, Discipline Managers, healthcare professionals, and partner institutions to design and deliver high-quality programs.

Using your clinical expertise and educational experience, you will develop, coordinate, and implement IPE activities that enhance collaboration, communication, and knowledge-sharing across allied health, nursing, and medicine.

Focusing on undergraduate and early-career allied health professionals, you will help them build practical teamwork skills for real-world settings. You will also support junior staff development, foster a culture of collaboration, and contribute to shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.

We’re looking for candidates who:

  • Have a strong allied health background with experience in education and training.

  • Are passionate about promoting teamwork across multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

  • Have experience developing and delivering IPE programs.

  • Are committed to improving patient-centered care through education and collaboration.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

  • Are proactive, innovative, and adaptable in dynamic healthcare environments.

  • Understand the learning needs of students and new graduates.

  • Champion lifelong learning and professional growth among junior staff

Employment Type: Permanent 0.4 FTE (with opportunity to work full time hours on fixed term contract for 12 months).
