Allied Health Interprofessional Educator (Permanent Full Time)

We are seeking a dedicated Grade 3 Allied Health Educator to support the delivery of interprofessional education (IPE) initiatives, enhancing teamwork and patient-centered care. You will collaborate with the Allied Health Education team, Discipline Managers, healthcare professionals, and educational institutions to deliver high-quality programs. With a strong clinical background and educational experience, you will develop, coordinate, and implement IPE initiatives that improve collaboration, communication, and knowledge-sharing across healthcare disciplines, including allied health, nursing, and medicine.

 

Focusing on undergraduate students and new graduate allied health professionals, you will equip them with the skills to collaborate effectively in real-world healthcare settings. Additionally, you will support the professional development of junior staff, promote a culture of teamwork, and contribute to the development of the next generation of healthcare professionals. Through high-quality learning opportunities, you will enhance patient care, improve outcomes, and ensure emerging professionals are prepared to work in multidisciplinary teams.

 

We Are Looking for Candidates Who:

  • Have a strong clinical background in allied health, with experience in education and training.

  • Demonstrate a passion for fostering collaborative practice across multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

  • Possess experience in developing and delivering interprofessional education (IPE) programs.

  • Are committed to improving patient-centered care through education and teamwork.

  • Have excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

  • Are proactive, innovative, and able to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Have a strong understanding of the needs of undergraduate students and new graduates in allied health professions.

  • Are dedicated to supporting the professional development of junior staff and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
