Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Grade 4 Allied Health Educator to join our dynamic team. As a senior leadership position within the Allied Health Education Team, you will play a crucial role in developing and overseeing educational strategies and programs for allied health professionals across AWH. This exciting role is focused on enhancing clinical practice, professional development, and integrating evidence-based practices into the workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set the strategic direction for clinical education across allied health disciplines (therapies and sciences), while optimising opportunities for interprofessional education (IPE).
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, clinical leaders, and academic partners to deliver impactful educational programs.
- Oversee the Grade 3 Allied Health Educator in the planning and management of student placements.
- Stay informed on government policies and sector developments to ensure compliance with reporting and funding requirements.
- Advocate for the inclusion of allied health professionals in education and training to improve patient-centered care across the Hume Region.
- Lead the coordination of training, education, and research for allied health students, graduates, and clinicians, aligning with AWH’s strategic goals.
