The AOD In-Patient Withdrawal CNS 2 will be a valued member of Drug and Alcohol, working alongside the team to support the in-patient withdrawal program. The role requires a person with high degree of clinical expertise, communication skills and a comittment to holistic care that integrates medical, psychological, and social support to effectively assist individuals in their recovery from substance use disorders. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
Nurse registered with APHRA with at least 3 year experience in acute patient care setting.
Domonstrated ability in provision of clinical education, supervision and support in a flexible and responsive manner responding to the earning needs of staff.
Sound knowledge and understanding of the variety of rural healthcare professions and inter professional practice within rural health service and community health setting.
Demonstrated understanding of care requirements for AOD patients and a willingness to complete further learning specific to AOD withdrawal and patient care.
High level analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
