The Nurse Practitioner Candidate will be a valued member of the Acute Community Intervention Service and will undertake advanced mental health nursing care including risk assessment and management whilst completing a Master of Mental Health Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) or however titled leading to eligibility for nurse practitioner credentialing in line with NMBA standard for advanced practice.
We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
- Unencumbered registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Post-registration mental health registered nursing practice experience of 5 years+, with at least two years at an advanced clinical nursing level of practice in a community setting
- Hold a Post graduate diploma in mental health nursing
- Ongoing engagement in individual Clinical Supervision
- Enrolled in a NMBA approved program of study providing academic preparation to apply for
endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner or enrolling in next available Semester
