Paediatric Cancer Care Nurse Coordinator
The Paediatric Cancer Care Nurse Coordinator plays a key role in supporting children and adolescents with cancer and their families across the Albury Wodonga Health and Northeast Health Wangaratta regions. Working within the Victorian Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service (PICS), Regional Outreach and Shared Care Program (ROSCP), this role collaborates closely with specialist teams, Primary Treatment Centres, and regional partner health services to ensure coordinated, high quality, family-centred cancer care as close to home as safely possible. The coordinator also has the opportunity to contribute to statewide service improvement initiatives, and assists in delivering paediatric oncology education to local health services within the Albury Wodonga and North East Victoria catchment.
As part of a networked and innovative paediatric cancer care system, the Nurse Coordinator helps drive improved access, consistancy of care, and better outcomes for young people undergoing cancer treatment.
Employment Type: This is a 12 month part-time maternity relief position until 30th June 2027.
