The Clinical Support Officer (CSO) will be a valued member of the Health Care Team under the direction of Access Manager. The Clinical Support Officer (CSO) will provide timely and accurate administrative services for members of the Health Care Team. The CSO will work under broad supervision but will be required to take some independent action. Scope exists for exercising initiative in the application of established work practices and procedures. The CSO role will support the activities of the Progression of Care Hub. The role will complement existing roles, systems, and processes.
CSO needs to have excellent communication skills. Demonstrated skills in dealing confidently and courteously with people at all levels. Experience in work processing, spreadsheet database software. Ability to work as an effective member of a team in as high pressure, high volume work environment. Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Capacity to work with minimal direction and to undertake a diverse range of tasks. Knowledge of the NSW Health system and evidence of a current Class C drivers' licence.
