The Social Worker will be a valued member of the Admitted Allied Health Team and will work closely with medical, nursing and other allied health professionals in an interdisciplinary capacity to ensure optimal person-centred healthcare is achieved. The successful applicant/s will provide high quality Social Work service provision and will work as part of the wider clinical team to optimise patient flow and facilitate suitable care pathways into and out of the health service. Flexible hours required including some weekend work.

We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.

• Bachelor or Masters of Social Work who are eligible for full registration with the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW)
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge and clinical expertise in Social Work with relevant skills to wotk within the hospital setting.
• Proven history of ability to successfully relate and communicate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders from different professional backgrounds. 
• Good team work skills and willingness to contribute to a positive workplace culture. 
• Experience in utilising data collection processes and demonstrated skills in data analytics.
• A current driver’s licence (this position may require cross border travel) permanent
