About the role

Are you an RN that is keen to be an important player in the Access and Flow team?

Applications are invited from Registered Nurses to join the ‘can do’ team in our Access & Flow division at AWH to work in Transit Lounge. This is an exciting position that will support the daily flow of patients throughout Albury Wodonga Health, ensuring a positive patient journey. This role helps facilitate early flow and ensure a safe, patient centered environment for patients to use as an interim waiting area whilst waiting for transfer or for practical arrangements to be finalised prior to discharge. 

 

Candidates meeting the following criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 2 years acute nursing experience
  • Previous experience in discharge planning and coordination
  • Good interpersonal, communication and networking skills
  • A passion for excellent patient centred care
  • Demonstrates a positive ‘can do’ attitude
