Albury Wodonga Health’s Cancer Service is expanding, and we are seeking dedicated and compassionate nurses to join our growing team. With increased capacity across our service, this is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established, multidisciplinary cancer service that is deeply connected to the community it serves. You will be supported by experienced clinical leaders, strong professional development pathways, and a collaborative team environment focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centred cancer care.

 

We are seeking motivated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join the Oncology Ward at Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre, with full‑time, part‑time and casual opportunities available. 

  • The successful applicants will provide high‑quality, patient‑centred nursing care to people undergoing cancer treatment, working collaboratively within a skilled multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in oncology, haematology or acute care is desirable, along with strong clinical assessment skills, effective communication, emotional resilience, and a genuine commitment to supporting patients and families through their cancer journey.
  • A willingness to undertake further education, including chemotherapy administration if not already accredited, and a positive, team‑focused approach to care are highly valued.
  • Australian Citizen, Permanent resident or have working rights in Australia.
  • Current Nursing and/or Midwifery Registration with APHRA (Australian Health Practitioners Agency).
  • Demonstrates an understanding of and the ability to practice within a quality and risk management framework.
  • Is able to describe and demonstrate the utilisation of evidence-based practice into own practice.
  • Understanding of WHS legislation as it relates to employees’ responsibilities.
  • An ability to describe clinical governance as it pertains to nursing / midwifery.
