Albury Wodonga Health’s Cancer Service is expanding, and we are seeking dedicated and compassionate nurses to join our growing team. Albury Wodonga Health requires Registered Nurses to join our expanding Cancer Services team. Primary responsibilities include general nursing duties, IV & CVAD management, comprehensive patient assessment, escalation of deterioration, complex wound management and multidisciplinary care planning. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
- Experience in Oncology and/or Haematology
- Australian Citizen, Permanent resident or have working rights in Australia.
- Current Nursing and/or Midwifery Registration with APHRA (Australian Health Practitioners Agency).
- Demonstrates a person and family centred approach to decision making and care planning activities.
- Ability to work as a team member within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Demonstrates an understanding of and the ability to practice within a quality and risk management framework.
- Is able to describe and demonstrate the utilisation of evidence-based practice into own practice.
- Understanding of WHS legislation as it relates to employees’ responsibilities.
- An ability to describe clinical governance as it pertains to nursing / midwifery.
