Are you an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented professional looking to support the delivery of meaningful capital infrastructure projects? Join the dynamic Infrastructure Services Delivery (ISD) team as a Project Support Officer!

 

This is a 12-month maternity leave position offering the opportunity to work across all phases of our infrastructure workplan, from planning and funding proposals to delivery and reporting. You’ll support the Director of Infrastructure Services Delivery (DISD) and Project Managers (PMs) in delivering key projects that enhance health services across our region.


About the Role
As a Project Support Officer (PSO), you’ll play a vital role in supporting the ISD Director and Project Managers across all phases of capital infrastructure projects. This includes:

 

  • Coordinating funding proposals and grant applications
  • Maintaining project documentation and reporting tools
  • Liaising with stakeholders such as VHBA, NSW Health, and internal teams
  • Supporting user and working groups, and stakeholder consultations
  • Providing admin and financial support (procurement, project invoice management, budgets and monthly reconciliations)
  • Assist with project activities, with support from the ISD Director and PMs as needed
  • Helping enhance governance, frameworks, and templates
  • Managing competing priorities across multiple projects

 

About You
We’re looking for someone who:

 

  • Has proven experience in project coordination or project management.
  • Demonstrates strong administrative skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams, management, and stakeholders.
  • Is highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

 

Employment Type: This is a 12month fixed term, fulltime opportunity.
