McGrath Cancer Care Nurse - Multi - Tumour

We are seeking an experienced cancer nurse to coordinate cancer care across multiple tumour streams at the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre, in line with the Victorian Cancer Plan 2024–2028.
While the role supports all patients across the cancer journey, there will be a strong emphasis on improving outcomes for priority populations identified in the Plan and supported by Optimal Care Pathways (OCPs) including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, older people and people with comorbid mental health conditions.
Your role will include:
Coordinating care – ensuring timely, culturally safe, and person-centred care from diagnosis through survivorship or end-of-life.
Implementing OCPs – embedding and adapting evidence-based pathways to meet local needs, improve access, and reduce inequities.
Building partnerships – working with Aboriginal health services, CALD organisations, mental health providers, and rural health networks.
Supporting the workforce – mentoring, educating, and equipping staff to deliver inclusive, responsive care.
Driving improvement – contributing to audits, data collection, quality projects, and relevant research initiatives.
