Fitter / Mechanical Tradesperson

The Fitter / Mechanical Tradesperson will be a valued member of the Facilities & Maintenance Services to Undertake regular preventative maintenance of all mechanical plant and equipment with particular reference to Sterilisers, Kitchen and General Hospital equipment (inclusive of trolleys, beds, lifters etc.), Compressors, Medical Gas Plant, Pumps and Water treatment equipment. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.

• Current NSW / VIC Trade License.
• Current Drivers’ License and a willingness to travel for work purposes.
• Demonstrated knowledge and successful experience in the operation, performance of preventative and corrective maintenance procedures of buildings, plant and equipment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Standards relating to mechanical installations, with the ability to acquire new skills and keep up to date with Trade developments in the Health and Hospital environment.
• Demonstrated high level of skill in fault diagnosis and rectification.
• Demonstrated ability to liaise with management, staff and clients in regards to repairs and scheduling of works and ability to provide technical advice.
