The Director of Community Care at Albury Wodonga Health is a pivotal senior leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality, coordinated clinical services across a diverse community portfolio. This includes care in the home, chronic disease management, dental services, paediatric allied health and nursing, violence, and abuse and neglect services. Working closely with other divisions, you will lead the planning, development and implementation of integrated models of care to enhance patient outcomes, access and experience across the health service. You will oversee all aspects of divisional performance, including workforce planning, financial management, service delivery and continuous improvement. This role requires a collaborative and values-driven approach, fostering a positive workplace culture while driving innovation, safety and quality across a complex service environment.
You are a confident and experienced healthcare leader who thrives in complexity and brings both strategic insight and strong operational capability. You will demonstrate:
- Relevant Allied Health or Nursing qualification, with postgraduate study in health management, policy, business or a related field
- Extensive senior leadership experience in a complex community care environment, including financial, workforce and operational management
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary services and deliver measurable service improvements
- Strong clinical governance expertise, including accreditation, quality improvement and data-informed decision making
- Highly developed leadership capability, including the ability to influence, drive change, build partnerships and navigate complexity

AWH serves as the largest regional healthcare provider between Sydney and Melbourne, situated in the border cities of Albury and Wodonga. With a dedicated team of over 3,000 professionals, we proudly service a population of up to 300,000 across North-East Victoria and Southern NSW.
