    The Counselling Clinical Lead will be a valued member of the Violence Abuse and Neglect team at Albury Community Health and will  provide clinical leadership, supervision and support to team members to ensure provision of quality specialist casework and intervention to ensure children and families receive evidence based, trauma informed services.  This role works closely with the Counselling Services manager to actively support innovation, culturally safe and evidence-based services with effective and sound interventions that operate within NSW Health guidelines, policy and procedures. This role will be expected to hold a limited clinical load to commensurate with other duties.  We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.

     

    • Must hold a Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or Fully Registered Psychologist, postgraduate qualifications.  With experience of a minimum of 5 years post graduate in the area of counselling and therapeutic work.
    • Extensive specialist knowledge and experience of current sexual assault, child protection and domestic violence assessment and intervention models of care, developmental trauma, counselling, therapy and casework in working with children, young people and families. 
    • Demonstrated skills in team leadership, providing clinical supervision and practice development, including advanced skills in communication.
    • Demonstrated commitment to clinical and cultural supervision and professional education and experience providing clinical supervision and leading education and teaching to staff and/or students 


    Employment Type: This is a   Permanent part time opportunity.
