Albury Community Health requires a suitably qualified Child and Family Health Registered Nurse (CFHRN), to join the dynamic Child and Family Health Team. The role of the CFHRN forms an integral part of primary health care and aims to maintain, improve and promote the optimal health and well being of children (0-5 years) and their families by providing services in the form of assessment, social support, education, supportive counselling, appropriate referral and documentation. Child and Family Health Nursing practice is grounded in a strength-based, partnership model and endeavours to empower families through a sensitive, flexible approach to service delivery. Child and Family Health Nurses are well placed to identify and consider the health needs and well-being of children and families and apply nursing knowledge and skills in their care. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Post Graduate Certificate in Child and Family Health Nursing with experience appropriate to performing the role of Child and Family Health Nursing within the past 12 months
- Demonstrated commitment to client focused care
- Ability to work both independently and within a mulitidisciplinary team
- Ability to plan and manage clinical activities
- Evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development
Employment Type: This is a fixed Term part-time (38hrs per fortnight) opportunity.
