About the role

Albury Community Health requires a Child and Family Health Registered Nurse, to join our dynamic Child and Family Health Service team. The role of the Child and Family Health Nurse forms an integral part of primary health care and aims to maintain, improve and promote the optimal health and well being of children (0-5 years) and their families by providing services in the form of assessment, social support, education, supportive counselling, appropriate referral and documentation. It acts as an entry point into the community health care system and occurs in multiple settings within the community.

 

Candidates meeting the following mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

• Post-Graduate experience appropriate to performing the role of Child and Family Health Nursing within the past 12 months

• Qualifications: Post-Graduate qualifications in Child and Family Health Nursing b) Completion of Family Partnership Training c) Nurse Immuniser desirable

 

Employment Type: This is a permanent part time - 48.00 hours per fortnight opportunity.
