Albury Wodonga Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cancer Care Coordinator to join our Cancer Services team in a full-time, fixed-term capacity. This role provides patient-centred coordination and support for people diagnosed with cancer, ensuring timely access to care, seamless communication across multidisciplinary teams, and continuity throughout the cancer care journey. The Cancer Care Coordinator acts as a key point of contact for patients and families, supports care planning and referrals, and contributes to service quality and improved patient outcomes within a supportive regional health service.
 
Position Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse Division 1 with current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum of 3–5 years post-registration clinical experience, including demonstrated experience in cancer care or a related specialty
  • Postgraduate qualification in oncology or relevant field, or working towards with a commitment to completion
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and care coordination skills, including the ability to provide leadership, education, and support within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to patient-centred, culturally safe, and high-quality care

 

Employment Type: This is a fixed term full time position until 30 June 2027.
