We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Acute Physiotherapist. The FTE is flexible (up to full time), with opportunity across the Medical and Surgical streams at both Albury and Wodonga Campuses – negotiable for the successful applicant.

Our team welcomes applications from self-motivated, positive and influential senior physiotherapists (or physiotherapists with ambition for a senior position) with skills and passion for acute inpatient management. The primary focus is clinical caseload management, mentoring and support, alongside our rotating physiotherapists. We have a large team with several senior clinicians in acute and subacute areas, ensuring you feel supported to achieve and grow. A nurturing, adaptable and clear communication style is essential to building rapport across a wide stakeholder group. Acute wards are busy and demanding, with constant pressure on beds, best suited to a flexible, broad-thinking, solution-focused physiotherapist. Responsibilities include guiding rotators and AHAs, delivering education, contributing to multidisciplinary care, and strategic improvement for our department and organisation.

The caseload includes acute stroke, respiratory, falls and frailty, neuro, cardiac, general surgical, trauma, and higher-acuity respiratory management in the HAB unit (ICU step down).

Employment Type: Up to full time opportunity- Whilst this position is fixed term, opportunities for extension or permanency are available, enabling you to become a proud, long-standing member of our team.
