This key leadership position guides the clinical workforce through a critical transformation at Albury Wodonga Health (AWH). The AWH Service Development Operational Allied Health Clinical Lead reports to the AWH Service Development Operational Manager and works with the operational nursing and medical clinical leads to ensure the operational readiness of all clinical teams during the staged move to new facilities. The role involves driving the redesign of programs and operational changes to service delivery models, workflows, and staffing structures, ensuring the workforce effectively adapts to the new clinical environments. The Allied Health Clinical Lead will collaborate with clinical, operational, and project teams to implement contemporary models of care, optimise service delivery, and enable the provision of modern, safe, efficient, and quality services in the new spaces.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Tertiary qualification as an Allied Health Professional or higher
  2. Extensive clinical experience as an Allied Health professional within a public health setting, with demonstrated leadership experience across Allied Health teams.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in service development, change management, and project implementation, particularly in the context of clinical service delivery in a healthcare environment.
  4. Experience in leading Allied Health teams and contributing to the strategic direction of the Allied Health workforce within a larger organisational context.
  5. Strong understanding of contemporary models of care, service delivery innovations, and healthcare systems.
  6. Advanced verbal and written communication skills to facilitate consultation, negotiation, and collaboration.
  7. High-level computer literacy and advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office programs and applications.

 

Employment Type: This is a full-time 40-hour-a-week position with a monthly ADO, fixed-term opportunity for 24 months
